Welcome To The Weddings Blog
Hello and welcome! As this is our first blog post, we wanted to take a couple of minutes to introduce ourselves, and give you an idea of what to expect here over the coming months.
First, we are getting married on May 27th of this year, and we are planning an interfaith ceremony. Who are we, you ask? Well, we are Bryan and Julie--a Jewish boy, and a United Methodist girl--and we will be taking you along with us as we plan our wedding. We hope that through this blog, others will find hope, help, and comfort in knowing that they are not alone, and that they are not the first to head down this path.
So there, in a nutshell, you have why we are here--to share our experiences of planning an interfaith wedding. We will be posting together and individually, as the mood strikes and as the ever-unfolding story requires. Thanks for joining us, and we hope you enjoy the ride!

I wish this couple the very best of luck and believe they will have a happy life together. My daughter has been in a serious interfaith relationship for over 2.5 years. The more I know her boyfriend, the more I feel as if he is already a member of my family. He has great character, is kind, caring and and is the best thing that has ever happened to her. I can't wait until the day they get married - I will be so very happy for the both of them, and yes, I will cry - tears of joy.
